The cat is back with R today. No, not the Great Post guy at my bay. Although he may think so. Maybe he can only type that at his show? Beats the heck out of me. R is for rambling, can't you see?
The rambling nuts,
Get stuck in ruts.
Even the cat,
Can ramble where we're at.
There can be a point,
Lost in a ramblers joint.
Their mouth flaps though,
So lost it may stay with each blow.
What makes a rambler?
Same thing as a gambler?
Is there a rush to ramble away?
Beats me at my bay.
I won and won and won on that thing.
It was a winning type of fling.
I won so much I can be a king.
Wow, did you hear I won on that thing?
Is rambling a repeating act?
Maybe repeating and rambling have a pact.
They both go together as one,
So the rambling is never done.
My house caught fire and it burnt down.
It then torched the whole town.
Soon it got the whole country side.
Next it went for a city ride.
Nope, no repeating there.
I guess no pact or care.
Can go either way with the ramble.
Which way can be a gamble.
The cat ate my shoe.
That cat was white not blue.
That cat was a big thing.
It must have been a cat king.
A mix of both.
Maybe that brings growth?
Couldn't just say the cat ate my shoe.
Eat is a strong word, probably just a chew.
A random ramble is there too.
Like how they got in a fight with a loo.
Or a mumble ramble is thrown out.
Then there is the ramble shout.
Any type of rambler at your sea? Which rambler would you be? Did you enjoy my ramble on the rambler today? Works for my a to z backwards bay. Got any good rambles to come to pass? You can tell my little rhyming ass.
Experience spring, have a fling.

I'm a rambler even though I try not to be. Yep that's me.
ReplyDeleteRamble away
DeleteAs you get your say
Care to gamble on the ramble
ReplyDeleteLest one gets but to fumble
Being a chatter box
Gets oneself locked
Avoid getting it into a rumble
Hank
Avoid that indeed
DeleteAs many may run away at high speed
Care to gamble on the ramble
ReplyDeleteLest one gets but to fumble

Avoid getting it into a rumble

Times two
DeletePhone got you
i have decided i will not ramble
ReplyDeletei will rather follow you and gamble
If you win big
DeleteShare with me and we'll dance a jig
Ok now I have the song Ramblin' Man goin' thru my head. Tryin' to make a livin' and doin' the best I can....
ReplyDeleteThat isn't a bad tune
DeleteUnless it's still in there come noon
Most of the ramblers I know don't repeat, they just go on and on and on...
ReplyDeleteThey start to make less sense too
DeleteAs on and on they go at their zoo
I've been known to gamble
ReplyDeleteand on occasion ramble...
Rambling while gambling
DeleteMay be bad rambling
I love to ramble when the weather is fine,
ReplyDeleteTo breathe in the fresh air and survey the sunshine.
To walk along the beach I love to ramble.
I'd have to spend money were I was to gamble.
Well done Pat on another good one.
Yvonne.
That is surely true
DeleteBetter to ramble than lose money gambling at your zoo
Rambler? Well I'm so glad that I'm a blabber and not a rambler! Lol I guess that means that I won't shut up but at least my words have a point ??? Hahaha
ReplyDeletehaha a point you eventually get to
DeleteAs you blabber through and through
And now I'll have the song Ramblin Man stuck in my head all day. Thanks, Pat!
ReplyDeleteHappy to do it at my sea
DeleteEnjoy it with glee
I can ramble sometimes if a bit stressed
ReplyDeletebut usually try to keep my words few
those that ramble all the time
rarely say something new
betty
Yep, same crap different day
DeleteAs they ramble away
One good thing about ramblers
ReplyDeleteIs that, unlike gamblers,
They don't notice when you stop listening
You can go brush your teeth til they're glistening
Or go run around the block
Cuz all they care to do is talk.
haha that much is true
DeleteCan even ignore while you use the loo
Ramble on and ramble down
ReplyDeleteRamble all around the town
Ramble up and ramble wide
Ramble with the coming tide
Ramble pip and ramble squeak
Ramble with a saucy little cheek
Ramble in, ramble out
DeleteLet them go and kiss a trout
I have to admit I'm guilty of rambling at times.
ReplyDeleteIf no one listens to me that's just fine.
Have a great week.
haha just let the ramble go
DeleteEven if no one hears high and low
Not really a rambler
ReplyDeleteIn terms of talking
But I do like to ramble
When it means walking
Walking far and near
DeleteToning your umm rear?
Yup, makes it taut
DeleteFirms up what ya got!
haha there you go
DeleteWhat you got to show
I can ramble, if I really want to, but this is the A to Z and I've no time to gamble.
ReplyDeleteShort and sweet, so I can meet, the crazy folks that participate!
That is a good way to be
DeleteTo get around the a to z
I don't think I ramble too much, although I do go off on tangents sometimes because I think of too many things at a time.
ReplyDeleteThe voices in my head do that too
DeleteAs they yap away at my zoo
I have been known to ramble once in a while. It is fun to do especially if someone listens to you. And to ramble while walking is fine too.
ReplyDeleteA ramble walk
DeleteDouble the talk
ramble on in rhyme - quite clever. I do walk in a ramble - never a straight line. Ramble on through the week - very fun
ReplyDeleteRamble on every which way
DeleteA fine way at ones bay
I'm not much of a rambler or gambler. Succinct and to the point. That's how I roll.
ReplyDeleteGood way to be
DeletePoint and no money lost from thee
I ramble here
ReplyDeleteI ramble there
To places so dear
I'm "devil may care!"
I've been to England
I've been to France
I've lived in Iceland
While wearing underpants
Except in the shower
cause that would be silly
Even though folks would cower
when seeing my willy.
Cower in fear
DeleteOr cower in disgust
Would it be an "oh dear"
Or is running a must
Never mind that
No need to know
Rambling where we're at
Hope it doesn't glow
I ramble a lot when I talk to my man,
ReplyDeleteMainly bc, stay silent he can,
I often think he just wants some quiet,
but I decide to talk a lot and just ruin the silence.
haha talking his ear off at your sea
DeleteNo silence when around thee
In my head, I'm hearing lyrics, "He's a ramblin' man," but I'm changing it to "It's a ramblin' cat."
ReplyDeleteA cat would work
DeleteA fine ramblin perk
My husband does this. He talks way to much. lol
ReplyDeleteJust wants to make sure you hear
DeleteWhen you are near
Rambling Rosey...that's what I call myself if I get too lengthy when I'm talking, posting, or in an e-mail. :)
ReplyDeleteI can curb that for you
DeleteJust think 666 is in view lol
haha - I remember that
DeleteUse it a few times
DeleteWith my rhymes
I think we all ramble sometimes. I find myself rambling more in my writing than I do verbally though.
ReplyDeleteWriting I do sometimes
DeleteAt least we all aren't mimes
I'll admit, my wife is a rambler. Her stories are always full of "and then there was this, but that's beside the point." If it's beside the point, dear, then you're probably better off just not mentioning it in the first place. But alas, I'm rambling...
ReplyDeleteMaybe besides the point will lead to another point
DeleteThen the points will end up joint
My daughter calls me from college and just rambles on sometimes because she's procrastinating something else. the things mothers do for love.
ReplyDeleteSusan Says
haha doesn't want to do some work
DeleteSo rambling can be a perk
I'm one of those rambling nuts. I frequently forget my original topic because I get sidetracked on another:)
ReplyDeleteAnd then another and another?
DeleteThat may get an "Oh brother"

DeleteSave money at my zoo
Can I ramble about not being #1?
ReplyDeleteYou can try
DeleteBut more than the blue guy?
Ramble is the code name I use
ReplyDeleteFor the journal full of words I choose
Ramble away
DeleteIn there to stay
I think most of us ramble at some point. :) Some more than others...
ReplyDelete~Jess
And you can sure tell those
DeleteThat ramble and cause woes
Someone here used to drive a Ramble, yep, he's old!
ReplyDeleteDid it work
DeleteWas it a perk
I only ramble to my husband, but I have a sneaking suspicion he tunes me out most of the time.
ReplyDeletehaha well at least you know
DeleteA tuning he will go
Pacquiao vs. Bradley's ramble is what I enjoyed recently. :)
ReplyDeleteHave to see
DeleteAt my sea
I'd rather ramble than gamble
ReplyDeleteand it is better for your health too!

That it may be
DeleteUnless you ramble and someone shoots thee
Oh yes...I ramble
ReplyDeleteBut I nev gamble.
My ex used to say, "Reader's Digest version"
There is a reason he is my ex. If you don't like me
Hit the road, I am ok being free
haha hit the road Jack
DeleteDon't take none of his flack
I thought I left you a ramble this morning. Maybe I get that coveted number 1 tomorrow. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteI guess not
DeleteMay get the #1 spot
Sometimes rambling can be boring....
ReplyDeleteeven induce snoring.
Random thoughts are different, though...
sometimes I give that a go.
Random thoughts can be good
DeleteEverything depends on the hood
Immediately Donald Trump came to mind. He stretches anything he says by repeating everything in any speech he makes. I've heard a lot of him lately; especially since tv in Hawaii is soooooo far behind the East Coast. I was reduced to listening to late night infomercials or Fox News (with forays into CNN ~ but they repeat ad nauseam). That is a pitiful state! Thank God the NY primary will be over today! Thanks for giving me some comic relief, my friend!
ReplyDeleteNo problem at all
DeleteAs Trump sure whines and rambles with every call
