The cat sees this word thrown around a lot. I guess there is some kind of plot? Does it just one day go poof? Maybe it wants to stop being aloof? Beats me but we shall see.
That was great.
Such a fun fate.
I watched it today.
A classic I say.
I read that too.
A classic came due.
I played that one.
Classic by a ton.
Classic = enduring interest.
Is that the best?
Weekend at Bernies has been called it.
Is there enduring interest for that not so much a hit?
Just an example thrown.
Maybe it's the tone.
So 80's at play.
Classic compared to today.
Would this be a classic post?
It's what you expect from the host.
Disney seems to have a ton.
Disney classics given a run.
Maybe it's age.
Turn the page.
Classic at play.
Just not today.
Tomorrow though.
Classic will show.
It's here to stay.
Switch it the next day.
A classic response.
From the renaissance?
Wowweee, classic right there.
Whoops, was said with years to spare.
So classic though.
That you must know.
Like that park that's Jurassic.
That is oh so classic.
Maybe that's it.
Spawns a sequel fit.
Weekend at Bernies 2 came due.
That must be how a classic pulls through.
Did we seed anything? Any idea at your wing? When does something become classic? Between now and the time of Jurassic? That is a lot of ground to cover. I hope you are a history lover. If you find out tell Cass. She'll relay it to my not so classic little rhyming ass.
Enjoy your winter, smash a printer.

DeleteHere at my show
A Classic Case To Embrace!
ReplyDeleteWill leave one in a daze
It is everywhere
More than a dare
Not even involved in a race
Hank
Just pops up
DeleteFills a classic cup
Fate is neat, it needs some time
ReplyDeleteA classic piece could be a rhyme
Let it age, it will turn mellow
May be a jolly jello fellow
Jiggle like jello
DeleteWith a hello
Maybe a smello
From this fello
Some things I think are classic, others just think are old. :)
ReplyDeletelol seems to be the way
DeleteAt many a bay
Disney has many classics
ReplyDeletethey have a lasting quality
Fantasia may be fantastic
how about space odyssey
That they do
DeleteThrough and through
With much in view
And songs too
Haven't heard that word thrown around here in a bit
ReplyDeletebut maybe at my age it would be a good fit!
betty
Classic you could be
DeleteThere at your sea
Wonderful Pat. Embrace is "Out of Bounds at my age" lol.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
lol can step across the line
DeleteTo make things umm align
Some classics, like Hobbit and Lord of the Ring
ReplyDeleteAre worth all the bling
Some classics need to be buried away
And forgotten in every way
That they surely do
DeleteTossed there in a pile of poo
Classic is a fancy word for old. I am almost there
ReplyDeleteCan be old and fancy
DeleteUnless it makes you antsy
I do enjoy my classic rock radio station, until they try to pass off ABBA as 'classic rock.'
ReplyDeleteThere comes a point
DeleteAt every joint
I think you're correct
ReplyDeleteAnd I would suspect
That promotion's at play
When "classic" they say.
It's hyped up prediction--
When in haughty diction
They say "This is a classic!
It's so great and fantastic!"
They're so full of gas.
"Classic" my ass.
Time tests what's great
And maybe what people will hate.
Arlee Bird
Tossing It Out
Yep, like or hate
DeleteNot always out of the gate
The instant classic crap
Is for a sap
Suck them in
With its spin
Get it now
For it will, really won't, wow
Classic is based on taste, I'm sure. As the years go by, tastes change and what was classic is now just old and outdated.
ReplyDeleteYep, change with the times
DeleteEven with rhymes and mimes
My car is technically a 'classic' because of its age, but I don't think anyone's going to be rushing out to buy it at an auction...
ReplyDeletehaha you never know
DeleteCould find the right one to give you a few hundred or so
I have heard that word a lot
ReplyDeletewhatever they feel is hot.
I believe a classic is what stands the test of time
Thinking The Fast &a Furious is classic is a crime.
Yep, those that stand the test
DeleteAnd aren't spouted off by some pest
classics may stand the test of time, but opinions about them definitely vary. :)
ReplyDelete~Jess
That they do
DeleteAnd like assholes, we all have them too
I have to agree with everyone else, that a classic does have to stand the test of time but I think they will always remain a classic such as the Disney movies. Those are the best.
ReplyDeleteYeah, those always stay on top
DeleteAnd surely aren't a flop
Classic should not be confused with Epic, which usually means long and boring!
ReplyDeleteSo many are that these days
DeleteAs they go on and on while off you daze
I'm afraid my car is closing in on being a classic.
ReplyDeleteMay not be good
DeleteIf breaks at your hood
I never really thought about it but you are totally right- that word is said quite a bit! I've found that I'm most guilty of saying "amazing". Like seriously- I say it way too much.
ReplyDeletehaha well maybe things all amaze
DeleteAs you give them a gaze
Revival of old things seem to be trendy. For example 1930s German politics got a new president elected.
ReplyDeleteRevived a new way
DeleteThere on display
Classic would be older cars and films. Maybe like more than 30 years, I don't know. I do enjoy noir films set in the 1940's though - classic.
ReplyDeleteThat they'd be
DeleteOld like that at ones sea
One Man's History
ReplyDeleteRemember when girls fought for me
This stud who would set their world free
Each night dreams would sail
Till my youth did fail
And I’d start my male fantasy
Fantasy is needed
DeleteWhen youth isn't seeded
To me, something that's classic has lasted for ages and people still enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteMusic, books, movies, TV, cars, and lots of other things I can think of fit.
Yep, they all fit
DeleteAs long as people enjoy it
I'm with Beverly here. Anything that has stood the test of time and can be enjoyed by many generations is considered a classic in my book.
ReplyDeleteYou have a book?
DeleteWow, never knew at my nook lol
Ha! Classic. 8D
ReplyDeleteMade the list
DeleteCan't be missed
Weekend at Bernies 2?
ReplyDeleteI'd rather sniff a shoe
No love for it
DeleteAnd the voodoo bit
Does it beat a remake
DeleteOr a refake?
Beats those any day
DeleteWith the stupid replay
