A Vibration Game Not So Tame!

It's addiction day. Today you will be addicted to my bay. Actually that would be rather bad. We don't want hanger ons at our pad. So we'll leave you be and let your addiction consume thee.

Ding, ding, ding.
Could be a fling.
Nope, just the news.
Still have the blues.

Ding, ding, ding.
You are the king.
Nope, just an update.
Such a sad fate.

Ding, ding, ding.
That's a fancy ring.
Oh, just your mother.
Nope, not another.

Ding, ding, ding.
Could it be cha-ching?
Nope, not one bit.
With another bill I've been hit.

Ding, ding, ding.
I love my bling.
Oh, just more news.
I have to pay dues.

Ding, ding, ding.
I am sure going to cling.
I need to pay the bill.
Can't have it be nil.

Ding, ding, ding.
Oh, that was a ring.
Hello, how are you?
Telemarketers, boo hoo.

Ding, ding, ding.
What is with this thing?
I'm not getting called.
Was I black balled?

Ding, ding, ding.
Yippee, I sing.
I got a text from a stranger.
I am no longer sad and in danger.

Ding, ding, ding.
Wow, it's spring.
Where did winter go?
My neck hurts so.

Are you a phone addict? Does being away from it cause you conflict? The cat really feels bad for you if so. Hmmm, believe me at your show? You probably shouldn't as I wouldn't. If you step out into the street after the ding, ding, ding beat and get hit by a car, no sympathy from my sand bar. Are you on your phone reading my sass? Point proven by my little rhyming ass.

Enjoy your winter, smash a printer.

  1. Well, it's one for the money
    Two for the show
    Three to get ready
    Now go, cat, go
    But don't you
Step on my blue suede shoe!
The Ninja Guy or some blue bun?
    No, I don't mean True...
    Or Scooby Blue...
    But me
    In the place to be.
    No copy paste...
    Just typing with haste!

    1. haha a ctrl v
      Sure came from thee
      In on top
      Of the crop
      No blue buns in sight
      Good in day or night

    2. Ninja guy, Hank and True
Are on a break, well, Scooby Doo!

    3. True was slumbering in the dreamscape
as new blue visions take shape...

I let the phone ring and ring as I sleep
As wandering thoughts in my mind creep

A blue bun, hopefully there would be some sun
And would that be two or one? Would there be
a velvet gun, so many questions I have to run

    4. Two, but two rhymes with shoe :D

    5. That is true a blue suede shoe

    6. Sleeping through the ding
      And maybe even the ring
With blue buns on the brain
      Hmm what a thought train

    7. Blue bunsanda ding
      Does that make you sing
      Beats Jackson's King Kong
Beats Star Wars 8 day or night
      Or being wrong, not right
Or being a chick on a stick
Or a toad on the road
Or a Blue minus 1 shoe
Or a Cat in a hat.

    8. King Kong will return
Blah is all it can earn
      The latest was crap
Or that side of it as they plunged across the map

  2. Phone fetishists are all around
Beep beep beep making a sound
    A selfie or two...
    Hundred thousand, maybe more
    As they they relish "encore!"
Well, you know what I mean
    At the Kitty Cat scene.

    1. They crave each ding
Can't even wait for a ring
      Have to be the best
With each selfie above the rest

    2. The best, quick and for free
      In the place to be

    3. Quickies by the ton
And not ones that are fun

    4. I know what you mean
      At the Kitty Cat scene

    5. In the know
Your humper neighbors didn't even need to say so

  3. That is one issue I don't have. Once phones grew larger, I found they were not worth carting around in my pocket.

  4. I do get alerts, but the volume is always down. And half the time, my phone isn't with me. It's a handy device but I', not addicted.

    1. It is handy at times indeed
But yeah, keeping it on one at all times is of no need

  5. I'm not a phone addict and I'm happy as long as the ding isn't the doorbell!

  6. I don't have a Fitbit, so I use mine to count steps. Otherwise, I would set it down and forget where I put it.

  7. Don't think I'm an addict but I always have it with me.
Have to be available if someone calls about the boys you see.
    And instagram is fun
    more than a ton.
I do think it's funny to see
videos of people falling into fountains and trees
because they are walking and texting away
without looking where they are going each day.

    1. That is true
Need it in case anything comes due
Not so sure about instagram at my sea
But at least no trees or fountains come to be

  8. I resisted getting a cell phone for years, but now that I have one, I find that I depend on it for a lot of things. I keep it with me (except when I forget to take it) because I don't want to miss any important calls... not that I get a lot of those.

    1. Got you right where they want now though
Whoever they are behind the curtain show

  9. Not a phone addict....but a news addict, to my own chagrin. Gotta stay away from the news to keep away the news blues!!

  10. I keep my cell phone with me
    But mostly for an emergencie.
If I get a call without a name
I don't answer it to play their little game.

  11. Never been dependant on my phone
    Rather chew a bone
    Take away the smart phone
    And its annoying drone
    It aint no "cell" phone
For you can't have a phone
    In your prison home

    Penny the pawet!

    1. That you may not
As the jailhouse rock goes hot to trot

  12. I’m not addicted to my phone, but I depend on the reminder I set in the phone :-)

    1. haha hmmm splitting heirs there?
      Could be at your lair

  13. I don't have a cell phone. I just have a landline and my daughter and father are really the only ones who call me. lol

    1. lol at least you know who it is
      With the phone ringing biz

  14. Sorry I am late for your "Addiction Day"
But I was off line yesterday for bills I had to pay.
But better late than never as the old saying goes.
I have visited you now and my "Addiction" grows.

    Great verse Pat.

  15. A telephone Scrooge that I be
If you want to talk, don't call me

    1. haha just email away
      Then you'll have your say

  16. I am not a phone addict- yet. I still don't have a smartphone, so I don't get any alerts :)

  17. I forget my phone at home half the time, so I think it’s safe to say I am not an addict.

  18. I can’t stand people who stay on the phone while in line and ordering something. In a restaurant and they keep looking at the phone or the dreaded texting while driving. More people are hit by cars every day in Toronto and I bet it is due to them walking across the street where there is no crosswalk while texting....oh well.

    1. Deserve what they get if that is the case
As the car drives into their face

  19. Ding, Ding. Ding. Ring-a-ling!
I'd gladly toss that damn thing!
