Cue The Waterworks!

So Fundy Blue likes it when we show the sights. Theresa likes to show the sights when she takes flights. Bijoux shows them on her new goals. I guess we can show a few as out Pat strolls. You'll want to travel here after this. It is such umm, maybe, sorta, bliss.

Here we have an old boat and WATER!

Next up a giant litterbox and more WATER!

Now we have swamp and even more WATER!

And next we have some rocks and even more WATER!

Some big rocks, a sign, and even more WATER!

A funky tree and even more WATER!

What have we here? Could it be? More WATER...and a seagull.

Need to dispose of a vehicle? Well here we have a way. It's more WATER!

And finally we have a power pole and can you guess? Are you waiting in anticipation? Yeah. It's more WATER!

Should the cat quit rhyming and become a travel agent? Would lots of humans get bent? I mean water is grand, right? Can find it most anywhere in sight. Hey, could impress an otter with all the WATER! Want to come visit now? Come near me and I may have a cow. Stranger danger and all. Just saying at our hall. Now go and get wet. I'll stick to being a rhyming pet.

It's a safe bet that water is wet!

  1. All that water - and it's a shame cats hat water.
Would love water around us, but not here. Water means water moccasins. Don't like the poisonous snakes.

    1. The cat enjoys water, Cassie, not so much. Glad we don't have any poisonous snakes or much of anything around here.

  4. Hmm - I like water so it's appealing to me. Someone should really clean up that area by the old boat.

    1. There are many like that, don't clean up where we are at.

  5. Hey - so, can you walk on water? Just looking for a miracle or something....
    Have a good weekend!

  6. I like all the pictures of water; remember I live in a desert. I think the cat was made to rhyme, I don't see him doing anything else but then and certainly not a travel agent!

  7. Lol on the need to dispose a vehicle! I suppose a cat is not a good travel agent, but there are Instagrammers who could filter those pics and make it seem like paradise!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They can filter all they want. I know where they were taken, 8 of them, no way in hell would it be paradise.

  8. Water near us has been closed off
Construction and mud make me scoff
Nice water you have your way
Better than ice on a wintry day

    1. Construction sure is a pain in the butt
But ice is usually far worse at any hut

  14. I suppose I'd rather step with socks

    1. But water has fish poop and duck poop and seagull poop and their pee
So same thing is playing in the litterbox to me

  16. Lots of water around. Were you out for a stroll then or taking in a beach day? Looks a bit cold there still though. Maybe the cat went fishing?

    1. Still rather cold indeed. I was out lurking on many a property, not fun times.

  17. I like the sites really. Enjoy seeing the lay of the land....and the water! Might be more pleasant in mid summer though.

  18. I like the water views and always take them if I'm out and about. The first one is my favorite. While I have zero desire to own a boat, I like to see them at the water. The note about losing a car made me equally parts cringe and laugh. Years ago, my brother-in-law and his girl, backed their car right into the water trying to get their boat in or out (I can't remember which now, but either way, yeeikes!).

    1. I'll just look at boats from afar too. haha yeah, accidentally putting one in there is a no thanks.

  19. When you live in an area that often suffers from drought, you really appreciate all that water. At the moment, we're way above average for rain, the lakes are full, the parks flooded. That will end come summertime, and we'll remember. Lovely pictures.

  21. I leave for a few weeks and you remodeled the whole place??!! Also, no post since the 24th? Who's the slacker now??

Seriously though, I love the new site and I love even more that you're taking time for yourself. Good for you!

    1. It's a safe bet the water is wet, lol. You crack me up, with your big litter box. We have too much water of late, so much rain and flooding in some areas. I want things to dry out.

    2. A few weeks? haha I think it was more than a few, such a slacker. Was fun to do the new site and make it more professional looking while still fun too. Time for ourselves is the goal, work may not like that too much though.

Big litter boxes abound here, and lots of water. Rain all about, ugg.

  23. Those are actually some pretty impressive shots!

I've just begun catching up on my blog-reading, and I was amazed to see that this post was from so many days ago. How does it feel to be pout from under that self-imposed once-a-day tyranny?

    1. "Out," not "pout." Big difference there.

    2. I can impress? That works.

A week almost with no post. Feels way better and way more enjoyable to not be on any schedule but when I see fit. Every day and the hum drum can stick it.
